Raised in the high desert of Southern California, David Chisholm is a writer and producer of film, television and stage.  His credits include THE WIZARD, OVER MY DEAD BODY, AMERICAN GOTHIC, the Las Vegas stage spectacle EFX!, and as a producer of the acclaimed documentary A COUP IN CAMELOT.

DOC HOLLIDAY represents David’s fondness for the American West and the compelling themes of romance and morality imbued in the legacy of one of its great, iconic characters.  He’s thrilled to have the tremendous talents involved and tips his hat to director RICK SPARKS, co-producer and performer STEPFANIE KRAMER, and to the immense accomplishments of composers JOHN GOODWIN and BOBBY TERRY, music director, WAYNE MOORE and the incomparable CAST for taking a bounding ride down the Chisholm Trail!  


 


Rick Sparks

Director 

Rick Sparks is the recipient of 20 theatre awards for writing, directing, choreography and sound design. He adapted & directed the 5 year local & national touring hit I Love Lucy Live On Stage. Prior, his adaptation & direction of They Shoot Horses Don’t They?  as well as Clockwork Orange garnered critical & box office acclaim. Off Broadway’s Down South, and West Coast smash hit premieres’ Psycho Beach Party, Daddy, and John Patrick Shanley’s Where’s My Money?  were all helmed by Sparks. World Premieres: Divorce The Musical, A Charlie Brown Commercial Christmas, Highballs Ahoy!, There’s No Place Like Hollywood, Dead Bride Running, Clutter, That Perfect Moment, Trio, and Lily Tomlin's Sheila Sands Live At The Roxy. Bobby Terry

Composer

Multi-talented musician, songwriter and producer Bobby Terry moved from his home city of Houston to Nashville in 1995. He started playing guitar and piano when he was nine years old and by the age of twelve, he was professionally playing steel guitar. In 2000, he signed his first of many major publishing deals. Some of the many artists who have recorded his songs are Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, Brad Paisley, Trace Adkins, Montgomery Gentry, Lonestar, Trace Adkins, Trishia Yearwood, and most recently Garth Brooks, on his soon to be released new LP. Bobby is also a record producer. Among his many production credits was a solo album by Anthony Smith, which resulted in several top 40 hits at country radio. He also produced songs on Trace Adkins Greatest Hits and countless other records. Bobby plays all the instruments and is one of the most popular and respected studio musicians in Nashville, which has made him an extremely in-demand session musician. Over the years, he’s played on recordings by Willie Nelson, Kenny Chesney, Alison Kraus, Alan Jackson, Darius Rucker, Luke Combs, Love & Theft, Uncle Kracker, Alabama, Dolly Parton, Joe Nichols, Craig Campbell, John Fogerty, Jamey Johnson, Randy Rogers Band and many others. Currently, he’s working with numerous upcoming artists and continuing to discover fresh new talent to write and produce for his current publisher, Three Hounds Music. 

 


John Goodwin

Composer

John Goodwin is a songwriter and visual artist. He spent most of his life in California, before moving to Nashville. His songs have been recorded by Michael McDonald, Jeff Bridges, Brad Paisley, Judy Collins, Craig Morgan and many other great recording artists. His songs have appeared in television shows and movies. Among them is a song he co-wrote on the Grammy Award winning soundtrack of Crazy Heart.

Stepfanie Kramer

Co Producer

Stepfanie is an actress, writer, singer songwriter and director who started her career in theatre.
When David asked her to come on board as co producer, it was a natural fit. Besides, she has had a
long standing love of westerns her entire life. She is actively writing films and projects for television with both writer/producers David Chisholm and Chip Hayes. She is grateful to be a part of such a talented group of people, and is delighted to be involved with such an exceptional creative team in the development of “Doc Holliday”.

Cricket Myers

Sound designer

Cricket S. Myers On Broadway, Cricket earned a Tony Nomination and a Drama Desk Award for her design of Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo. Off Broadway designs include The Marvelous Wonderettes. She has also designed regionally at La Jolla Playhouse, The Geffen Playhouse, The Ahmanson, The Mark Taper Forum, Berkley Rep, Arena Stage, South Coast Rep, The Kirk Douglas Theater, and the Pasadena Playhouse. Other selected L.A. Theaters include East West Players, Ghost Road Theater Company, The Celebration Theater, and Anteaus Theater Company. She has earned 20 Ovation Nominations, as well as winning The Ruth Marley Award from the League of Professional Theater Women, The Kinetic Award for Outstanding Achievements in Theatrical Design, an LADCC and a Garland Award.  www.cricketsmyers.com


Justine Baldwin

Stage manager

Justine is delighted to be working once again with Rick Sparks.  She has stage managed at several Los Angeles area theaters including Pasadena Playhouse, Theatre @ Boston Court, [Inside] the Ford, The Alex, The Hudson, The Road, The Bootleg, Greenway Court, and El Portal.  She co-produced the Ovation nominated Chicago The Musical at the Hudson Backstage Theatre, the critically acclaimed LA premiere of The Life, and the filming of Sam Harris’ Ovation Award winning Ham: A Musical Memoir.  Justine traveled with I Love Lucy® Live on Stage from LA to Chicago for the show’s extended run at The Broadway Playhouse and continued with the production for the first national tour.

Justine graduated from UCLA with a Master’s Degree in Education and a BA in World Arts and Cultures with a Theatre Concentration and Diversified Liberal Arts Specialization.  Justine is a full time elementary school teacher at a visual and performing arts magnet school and consults as a support provider for beginning teachers.  She has received Los Angeles County Office of Education’s Digital Voice Award, a Disney Teacher nomination, been recognized as Teacher of the Year, and was awarded the Masonic Award for Outstanding and Meritorious Service to Public Schools and Public Education.

Justine is a proud member of Actors' Equity Association.


Angelica Estevez

Angelica has loved theatre since the first time her parents took her to a local play in Miami when she was just a little girl. This love affair has continued throughout her life. She has worked in all different aspects of theatre including being on stage, but enjoys stage managing the best. Something about being part of the process from beginning to end is magical to her. She feels very blessed to be part of the production. She hopes you enjoy the magic of the show.
